The cottage is located 4.5km above the town Frantschach/St. Gertraud, on a silvan glade, completely secluded, at the end of a private road.

Next town is Frantschach, 4.5 km away. Wolfsberg with its historic old town is 9 km away. The Weinebene ski area is 20 km away. At an altitude of up to 1886 m, you will find an ideal area for skiing, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing. 13 slopes, ski school and practice lifts for children. Cross-country skiers enjoy 15 km of perfectly groomed, double-tracked trails! The touring options to Hebalm and Koraple are particularly interesting. The toboggan run on Weinebene is 20 km away! In summer, the St. Andrä swimming lake is 25 km away, Lake Klopeiner See is 50 km away, and Lake Wörthersee is 80 km away (1 hour by car). The Wolfsberg Freibad with pools is 12 km away. Walking trails start from the hut, a small stream runs below the hut. The Lavanttal Valley offers more than 1000 km of marked, family-friendly hiking trails and is considered a paradise for mountain bikers!

From the side entrance of the ground floor you enter a small kitchen with an electric stove, oven, wood-burning stove (central heating), refrigerator, and coffee machine. Further you enter the living room with a seating area and satellite TV. The modern bathroom has a shower/WC. First floor: 1 triple bedroom, 1 double bedroom with a terrace. Next to the cabin is your private wellness cabin with a sauna/infrared cabin, cold water shower, and relaxation room on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a winter-proof gazebo with a large lounge. Here is your second living room, with a large table and seating area, a wood-burning stove, electric stove, small refrigerator, and sink. The huge terrace in front, with a grill, is perfect for eating, sitting, chatting, and enjoying the view of the forest. We ask that you refrain from smoking in the cabin!
