Concept, web design & production
The website was created by ncm.at, specialists in successful websites for the tourism industry. The conceptual design, production and online marketing follow a shared strategy, the logic of success: Website, marketing and monitoring, which transforms website visitors into hotel guests. The website conveys three things: Information, emotions and a call for action. Combined with a user-friendly web design and in line with the Google Webmaster Guidelines, the website becomes the perfect basis for successful online marketing and search engine optimisation.
Online-Marketing
This website is overseen and continually developed by the Online Marketing Team at ncm.at. Where required, online advertising campaigns, for example with Google AdWords, supplement the online marketing. The website itself is the basis for this. It is designed and optimised for search engines in accordance with the Google Webmaster Guidelines. The content is constantly expanded by editors to fit the current requirements of the users. This guarantees that search engines can find, read and interpret the website content optimally.
Use of CheckEffect
The website uses CheckEffect, a web analysis tool provided by ncm.at. CheckEffect is the tool for successful online marketing for the tourism industry, developed by tourism experts to meet the requirements of the tourism industry. CheckEffect uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer in order to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be stored on a server of the company ncm.at. ncm.at will use this information to evaluate the use of the website. The evaluation is used to provide the website operator with a detailed overview and reports on search terms, search engines and cost-benefit calculations of specific advertising, campaigns and pay-per-click links. CheckEffect compares this information anonymously with websites of similar companies and provides an industry comparison.
You may refuse the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you agree to the processing of data collected about you by ncm.at in the aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer in order to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operator and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage to the website provider. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you agree to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose.
You can refuse permission for Google Analytics to collect data in the future by installing a deactivation add-on (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) for your browser.
Use of Pinterest
Plugins from the social network Pinterest Inc., 635 High Street, Palo Alto, CA, 94301, USA are integrated onto our website. You can recognise the Pinterest plugin by the “Pin it Button” on our website. If you click the Pinterest “Pin it Button” while you are logged into your Pinterest account, you can link the content of our site to your Pinterest profile. This means Pinterest can assign the visit to our website to your user account. We hereby refer to the fact that we, as the supplier of the website, receive no notification of the content of submitted data or its use by Pinterest. You can find more information on the Data Protection Declaration of Pinterest here.
Use of Facebook Social Plugins
Our website also uses social plugins provided by the facebook.com social network, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). These plugins can be recognised by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs-up” sign) or are marked as “Facebook social plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be seen here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.
If you access one of our web pages containing such a plugin, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin will be communicated directly from Facebook to your browser and embedded in the website. As a result, we have no influence on the extent of data, which Facebook collects using this plugin and would therefore like to clarify how we believe the system works:
By incorporating the plugin, Facebook obtains the information that you have accessed from our website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can allocate the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or leaving a comment, this information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and saved there. If you do not have a Facebook account, there is still the possibility that Facebook will ascertain and save your IP address.
The purpose and extent of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook and your related rights and privacy options can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our Internet site and link this with your membership data stored at Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins for your browser by using the “Facebook Blocker”, for example.
Use of the Twitter Tweet Button
This Internet site uses the “Tweet” button of the Twitter social network, operated by Twitter Inc., 750 Folsom Street, Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States (“Twitter”). The button is recognisable from the dark-blue bird and the word “Tweet” on a light-blue background.
If you open a web page with such a button on our Internet site, your browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter's servers. The content of the “Twitter” button will be communicated directly from Twitter to your browser and embedded in your Twitter message. We therefore have no influence on the extent of data that Twitter collects using the button, but assume that this includes your IP address being saved.
The purpose and extent of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Twitter and your related rights and privacy options can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy: http://twitter.com/privacy.
If you are a Twitter member and do not want Twitter to collect data about you via our Internet site and link this with your membership data stored at Twitter, you must log out of Twitter before visiting our website.
