    Location

    Located above the town Frankenfels at the Pielach-valley, in a very secluded area, at the edge of the forest, opposite the farmyard of the owner.

    Distances

    The town Frankenfels, which is reachable in 3km, is a real hiking-paradise at the "Mostviertel" with 80km marked paths, about 40km south of the city St. Pölten. Skiarea Hochbärneck 21km, Annaberg 30km and depending on snow conditions Turmkogel 18km. Crags (parks for climbing) are in about 1km, mountain bike routes start directly at the town Frankenfels, swimming baths, tennis court in 3km. Hike to the farmed "Eibeck-alp" in 2,5km, "Nix-cave" in 4km.

    Equippment

    The hunting lodge has a snuggery with lounge, a chimney and a sofa which is extendable (for 2 persons) if needed. Satellite TV. Small kitchen with electric cooker, an oven, a fridge, a coffee machine, a water boiler. Double room. Bathroom with bath tub. Toilet. Heating with wood or electrically.

    Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:

    Local tourism tax currently € 2,50/Person/night, electricity € 0,50/kWh. Wood: winter € 25,-/week , summer € 15,-/week. Pet € 25,-/week. Bed linen can be rented for € 10,-/set and towels for € 5,-/set.

    Sehr nette Hütte und Vermieter, viele Wanderwege, wunderschöne Gegend, man kann mit der Seele baumeln!

    Wer die original 70er liebt, wird mit dieser Ausstattung glücklich sein, sie stammt nämlich von damals. Außen ist die Hütte toll in Schuss, innen wäre eine Überholung und Erneuerung dringend angebracht. Eigentlich schade, weil die Gegend und Menschen toll sind und es sehr erholsam ist. 4 Personen würden auf ein Doppelbettt, eine kleine (!) Klappcouch und ein Klapp-Campingbett mit dünner Schaumstoff-Matratze aufgeteilt. Die Vermieter sind allerdings sehr nett.

    Saubere kleine gemütliche Jagdhütte, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Super ruhige Lage, man braucht ein Auto um die Gegend zu erkunden oder Einkäufe zu erledigen. Für längere Wanderungen muss man ca 30min fahren. Dann aber tolles Wandergebiet .
    Wenig Tourismus. Sehr angenehm.
