Only 45km south of Salzburg, 10 minutes from the Eisriesenwelt and Hohenwerfen Castle, on a sunny high plateau in the middle of the picturesque village of Werfenweng lies the Family Resort. In December 2023, 4 luxury chalets will open near the hotel, which can be used with all of the resorts services (except food and drinks).
DistancesRosnerköpfl gondola lift directly opposite with forest ropes course, mountain cart track, FunLiner, ski run, mountain bike trails and restaurants. Werfenweng ski area with 29 kilometers of slopes in 1.5km, Ski Amade Hochkönig or Flachau 24km each. Cross-country skiing in the valley, toboggan run directly opposite. Countless summer and winter hiking trails from the hut. The chalets are the ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the Salzburger Land and in the Ski-Amade or Schladming-Dachstein regions. The Tennengebirge offers numerous challenges for climbers, but cyclists and mountain bikers dont miss out either. A leisurely bike trip or something more challenging, everyone will find their perfect tour in Werfenweng! Numerous places to stop for refreshments invite you to take a relaxing break.
EquippmentBergchalet 3 is the perfect chalet for 2-3 families with a large terrace right by the pond, BBQ and a dip in the heated pool! Ground floor: Entrance to living area and dining room, open fireplace, Smart TV, sound system, dining table with embedded Teppanyaki grill plates, custom kitchen (oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, wine fridge, coffee machine and other essentials. Large terrace in front of the chalet Pond with BBQ area (gas), 1 double room with bathtub, shower, toilet. Wellness area with sauna, shower, toilet, exit to the terrace with whirlpool. OG1: 2 double rooms with shower/toilet/bathtub, 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds, shower/toilet. Sauna, shower/toilet. And staircase to the second floor to the small roof terrace. Underfloor heating, wooden floors, washing machine, dryer, ski storage, ski boot dryer, WiFi. Also infinity pool directly in the large pond in front of the hut!
For an additional charge: breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner buffet in the chalet or in the restaurant.

The skiing region Werfenweng offers 25km slopes and 9 ski lifts for families, elderly people and persons who love winter sports. There are different fun parks for children like the renewed "children- and beginners arena" as well as for accomplished snowboarders and skiers like the "ski funpark" for sliding and jumping. For non-skiers there is a 6km long toboggan run.

In Werfen, between the three mountain ranges Tennengebirge, Hagengebirge and Hochkönig, everyone gets to their destination. Whether on a leisurely walk in the valley or on a beautiful hike past lush alpine meadows with grazing cows.
Or one of the many high alpine hikes through the surrounding intact mountains - fascinating insight into the wonders of nature and grandiose views are guaranteed!
