The cabin is isolated, submontane of the Sölkpass, on the road, surrounded by a large garden which is fenced off the street. Behind the hut is a creek that invites you to plash.

EquippmentThe rustic hut consists of just one room. It has 2 bunk beds, a kitchenette with wood stove, an oven, a gas cooker (2 burners), a lounge. Light via a photovoltaic System, 1 electrical outlet. Heating with wood stove. Refrigeration of the food is possible inside the well, which is in front of the hut. Barbecue. Behind the hut is the small toilet shelter! In front of the hut is a garden.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 1,50/person/night, final cleaning € 20,-, pet € 10,-. Bed linen can be rented € 3,-/set.

Die Anreise ist kein Problem und die Vermieterin sehr zuvorkommend. Ohne Strom (ist zwar vorhanden, wurde aber nicht genutzt), ohne fließend Wasser, WC/Dusche und Kühlschrank in der Hütte entschleunigt einen der Aufenthalt sehr. Das sollte man bedenken, wenn man länger bleiben möchte! Auch ist man sofort bekannt im Ort ;) Wobei die Bevölkerung sehr einladend und nicht scheu ist. Alles in allem ein sehr entspannender und angenehmer Urlaub - beachtet aber die klimatischen Bedingungen! Auch im Mai kanns noch schneien! Wir möchten wieder kommen, aber dann doch erst im Sommer...
Urige Hütte. Luxus pur durch Fotovoltaik (Licht und Steckdose) sowie nahem Toilettenhäuschen mit quellwassergespültem WC. Liebe, freundliche, aufgeschlossene, unkomplizierte Bevölkerung. Alpenvereinskarte 45/3, Niedere Tauern III, 1:50 000 deckt das Gebiet um St. Nikolai sehr gut ab.
Sehr Tierlieb. Hütte liegt an einer Straße, was für Ruhe suchende nicht so gut ist. Ansonsten, alles Top.
