In a solitary position on a sunny hill, with a wonderful view onto the Hohen Tauern. The cottage is located only 800m below the new cable car middle station. In winter you reach the cottage with the new cable car from Bramberg and then you could ski down, walk or toboggan the last 800m (sledge rental at the owner). The transport of the luggage will be organized by the owner. Starting directly at the cottage, you can take the downhill to Neukirchen/Neuhaus. From there you can take the free ski bus service to the cable car Neukirchen or you walk from the cottage to the middle station (800m) uphill and then take the downhill to Bramberg. Here starts also the illuminted toboggan run to Bramberg! In summer you can reach the cottage by car (2 parkings available). Perfect place to collect berries and mushrooms!
DistancesClose-by to the ski region, to the longest natural toboggan run of the world (with snow cannons), to long hiking paths; mountain lake 30m; farmed hut 800m above (open at the peak season in summer and winter), down at the town Neunkirchen (6km): railway station, shops, swimming pool, tennis court, bicycle rental, riding. In summer the 4km long mountain go-kart course ends 8km above the cottage at the middle station. It is just fun for the young and the young at heart.
EquippmentThe cottage is furnished with loving care. Ground floor: breakfast kitchen with wood stove, oven, electric cooker (2 plates), coffee machine, water boiler, fridge, radio and seating corner. Chilly cellar to store foodstuffs and drinks. Snuggery (non-smoking)with seating corner and sofa. Bathroom with sauna and shower. Toilet. Floor heating. Upper floor: 3 double rooms. Heating via wood stove and solar electricity. In front of the hut are seats, a barbecue, a marvellous view and absolute privacy! Bed linen are available.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity € 0,45/kWh, local tourism tax currently € 2,05/person/night, pet € 35,-/week, luggage transportation € 29,-/drive, additional person € 12,€/night.

The skiing region Wildkogel is located in western Salzburg, between the Kitzbühler Alps and the national park Hohe Tauern with the districts Neukirchen and Bramberg, easily reachable from Kitzbühel or Mittersil. From the cable car for 6 persons or the "Smaragdbahn" you have a wonderful view to the surrounding peaks! It is an area where snow is assured until spring (2,150m) and therefore an inside tip for snowboarders and deep snow skiers. After skiing you should stop off at on of the farmed huts. Ski school for children, ice-skating area, ski touring, 55km cross-country ski runs, 55km prepared slopes.
Here is also the longest, illuminated natural toboggan run (14km) in the world! Numerous hiking trails.

Cyclists as well as mountain bikers and downhillers likewise discover their own piece of heaven in the Wildkogel Arena. Whether you wish to explore the area on your own by bicycle or mountain bike or opt to take part in one of our guided mountain bike tours, is entirely up to you. In our holiday region, the WildkogelAktiv program promises a wide selection of activities, with something for every taste and all weather conditions.
After a great day of hiking or biking during your summer vacation in the Wildkogel Arena, you can look forward to numerous restaurants either up on the mountains or down in the valley, where, in a cozy setting, you will be treated, amongst other things, to delicious specialties of the Pinzgau region. And awaiting your kids is the Kogel-Mogel Adventure Arena: an exciting playground made out of wood, located right next to the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn lifts.

Die Berghütte hat eine tolle Lage - grandioser Ausblick - und ist wirklich wunderschön. Sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts, außer und das war bei uns beabsichtigt am TV und WLAN. Wer etwas ausgiebiger Kochen möchte, muss den Herd mit Holz anheizen, genügend Holz ist vorhanden, ansonsten kann man mit Elektrokochplatten auch mal schneller etwas auf den Tisch bringen. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien. 2 gemütliche Sitzecken im Haus und ebenso die Möglichkeiten draußen vor dem Haus zu essen oder sitzen.
Eine tolle Hütte, mit unsagbar grandiosem Blick auf die Hohen Tauern. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Rundherum einfach ein richtig toller, erholsamer Urlaub in den Bergen.
Eine tolle Hütte für einen entspannten Familienurlaub
Einfach schrecklich, furchtbar .... so müssten wir die Hütte bewerten, denn sonst könnte es sein, dass die Hütte immer ausgebucht ist und wir nicht mehr dorthin kommen.. So, jetzt aber mal ehrlich: diese Hütte ist einfach super!!! Das ist die beste Hütte, die man sich vorstellen kann, auch die Lage und die Gegend einfach Klasse! Wir sind dankbar, dass die Graber´s so eine tolle Hütte überhaupt zur Verfügung stellen und man so die Gelegenheit bekommt, einen Urlaub dort zu verbringen.
Aber Achtung! Suchtgefahr! Den wenn man einmal dort war, möchte man garantiert wieder hin!
