The cottage is located in a secluded area, on the waterfront of the Gell-lake. This lake is an idyllic hill moor lake, where you can also swim in summer. Next to the lake is a "moor plant nature trail", where you can hike on footbridges out of larch wood.
DistancesNext town Oberwölz in 12km, Scheifling 16km, Lachtal 3km. In summer you can go cycling or hike to farmed huts!
EquippmentGround floor: Entrance to the winter garden with a seating area, satellite TV, exit to the lakeside terrace with grill. There is a hot tub here. Rustic snuggery with kitchenette with Nespresso coffee machine, refrigerator, seating area, couch, cozy tiled stove, wood stove, oven, electronic hot plate. Wine fridge with quality wines from the Styrian Weinhof Kowald (prices from the farm), 1 shower/toilet (hot water from a wood-burning stove). Sauna. Stairway to the attic (in the staircase an additional bed 160cm) to a three-bed room with double and single bed and balcony. WIFI available. On the lake terrace in front of the hut there is a seating area and your private whirlpool (with electricity). In the wooden hut next door is your own sauna. From the sauna you can climb directly into the natural moor pool with spring water or swim a lap in the lake. Next to the hut lawn, well, deck chairs. SUP available.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tax, flat rate for additional costs (final cleaning, wood, , bed linen electricity 50kwh ) € 250 per week, after that € 0,50/kwh bring your own towels.

Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, experience nature with all your senses, take a deep breath and find yourself again. Those who hike in such an environment inevitably feel the beneficial effects on body, mind and soul.
Wonderful walking and hiking trails from the valley to the high mountains, from leisurely family hikes to extreme mountain hikes.
Where in summer - surrounded by imposing two thousand meter peaks - cows graze with their calves, lush green colors the alpine pastures and alpine flowers provide splashes of color, in winter all signs point to fun on the slopes.

Die Hütte ist ruhig und inmitten der Natur. Autos fahren nur wenige an der nahegelegenen Straße vorbei. Das Wetter ist zwar sehr unbeständig und kalt in dieser Gegend, doch das macht auch nichts. Auch die vielen Fliegen stören nicht wirklich, ebenso wenig wie die nicht vorhandene Verdunkelung im Schlafzimmer. Leider gab es bei unserer Abreise für uns absolut nicht nachvollziehbare Unstimmigkeiten mit dem Vermieter und wir werden deshalb nicht wiederkommen.
Die Hütte ist der Wahnsinn! :-) Wenn man es gerne urig hat und schöne Umgebung/Natur liebt ist man hier genau richtig! Hier kann man richtig toll entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Ich freue mich schon wieder auf nächstes Jahr!
Ausstattung, Lage, Sauberkeit der Hütte bekommt von uns die Bestnote. Es ist alles da was man braucht und was in den Unterlagen versprochen wurde.
Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick.Auf der Suche nach einer kleine Hütte,fiel unsere Auswahl sofort auf diese....und im Nachhinein war eine Woche da viel zu wenig.Es war einfach super.Die ruhige Lage war einfach genau das Richtige und unser eigener Badesteg fantastisch.Die Hütte ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen richtigen Hüttenurlaub bracht.Und nach einer rundrum erholsamen und wunderschönen Woche steht für uns fest:WIR KOMMEN WIEDER!
