    Location

    The holiday house is located on the in the bottom of the Lachtal (valley), with direct access to the skiing- and hiking area Lachtal. Perfect initial point for winter athletes as well as hikers and cyclists.

    Distances

    The slope is next door to the house. Ski and snowboard school at the valley station, about 100 m from here. Cross-country ski run, illuminated toboggan run and ice-skating place are close by. Shopping 100 m, taverns 100 m (only seasonally open). Thermal bath AquaLux 30 km, golf course 31 km. Outdoor swimming pool 15 km.

    Equippment

    The holiday house was renovated in 2014. Ground floor: anteroom with ski boot dryer, 1 toilet, big livin groom with kitchenette and electric cooker, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, dinette, satellite TV, seating area at the chimney. 1 shower/toilet. Staircase to the upper floor, where 2 single beds/satellite TV are at the anteroom. 2 three-bed rooms/satellite TV. Oil-fired central heating. In front of the house is a small garden with seats, a barbecue and a small playground.

    Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:

    Electricity € 0,70/kWh, local tourism tax currently € 2,50/person/night, waste disposal € 20,-/week, final cleaning € 60,-. pet € 35,-/week. Bed linen can be rented for € 15,-/set and towels for € 5,-/set.

    The Lachtal!
    It is one of the biggest, most popular skiing areas in Styria where also snow is mostly assured. Skiing on an altitude between 1,600m and 2,222m, 40km slopes at all levels of difficulty (blue-red-black) and 10km skiing routes are available. It is a 150 ha sunny skiing area with 2 modern "6er chairlifts" and 8 ski lifts. The offer at the "Kinder-Lachtal" is presentable and perfect for children and novices in skiing. A "magic carpet" (that´s a kind of conveyor belt), a Teddy-ski tow, mini slalom, coloured figure parcours, wave course, treasure hunt and a lot more services are offered.

    Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, experience nature with all your senses, take a deep breath and find yourself again. Those who hike in such an environment inevitably feel the beneficial effects on body, mind and soul.
    Wonderful walking and hiking trails from the valley to the high mountains, from leisurely family hikes to extreme mountain hikes.
    Where in summer - surrounded by imposing two thousand meter peaks - cows graze with their calves, lush green colors the alpine pastures and alpine flowers provide splashes of color, in winter all signs point to fun on the slopes.
