The cottage is located in a secluded area, with a wonderful view, calm and sunny on the Götzberg (mountain), in the "Oberen Gurktal" which is one of the most beautiful high valleys in Carinthia.
DistancesThe town Gnesau in 11km, swimming bath 10km, leisure facility 10km, Ossiacher lake 32km, Millstätter lake 32km, "Wörthersee" lake 36km, tennis court 10km, the town Bad Kleinkirchheim 17km. This region is famous for its hiking- and mountain bike possibilities at the "Nockberge" (mountains)!
EquippmentThe cottage is equipped very delightful and comfortable. Ground floor: big living room with seating corner, high chair on request, open and well-equipped kitchen with wood stove, oven, gas cooker (2 flames), tiled stove with glazed fire door, comfortable reading corner with 2 beds of sloth, satellite TV/radio available. Larder, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, toilet with washbasin. Staircase to the upper floor, here is an open attic from where you can go to the 2 bedrooms (1 big double room, 2 small attic rooms - 1 x queen-size bed 140cm width, 1 x 2 single beds). Smoking inside the cottage is not allowed. Open fire at the for a pleasant warmth at the living room. Solar electricity, emergency generator, "natural" fridge at the well in front of the cottage. Carport for 1 car available. In front of the cottage is a garden with seats, a picnic site for barbecuing and a wonderful view onto the mountain pasture. There is also a small pond about 80m next to the cottage.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 1,90/person/night, final cleaning € 100,-. Bed linen/towels can be rented for € 15,-/person, deposit € 150,-.

Sehr empfehlenswert für ein ruhige, entspannte Tage weitab vom Alltag. Die Lage ist großartig. An heißen Sommertagen ist die Höhe von gut 1500 Metern über NN eine Wohltat, doch selbst an den (diesmal häufigen) Unwettertagen wurde es dort nie zu kühl oder unangenehm. Der Ausblick von der Alm ist viel schöner als erwartet. Die Hütte selbst ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und bietet allen nötigen Komfort. Dass man morgens mit dem Holz-Ofen das Warmwasser vorheizen muss, überrascht zunächst, ist ab dem zweiten Tag jedoch bereits unkomplizierte Routine. Auch an die Fahrt hinauf und ins Tal gewöhnt man sich schnell (man muss für Ausflüge nur genügend Zeit einplanen). Das Quellwasser aus dem Brunnen (der als zusätzlicher Kühlschrank dient) schmeckt hervorragend. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.
Perfekt ausgestattete Hütte, ruhige Lage!
Einziges Kriterium - keine bewirtschafteten Almen in der näheren Umgebung!
Wir verbrachten diesen Sommer unseren Urlaub in dieser sehr schönen Hütte. (vier Erwachsene, zwei Kinder, ein Hund) Da wir schon seit sehr vielen Jahren ausschließlich Hüttenurlaube machen haben wir auch schon sehr viel erlebt. Diese Hütte jedoch lässt keine Wünsche offen...Sie ist sehr durchdacht, liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist wirklich alles da. Man vermisst keine Topfgrößen...keine scharfen Messer...es ist sehr sauber und die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben an alles gedacht. Es ist bis dato die schönste Hütte die wir besuchen durften...Lediglich das direkte Wandergebiet (also direkt von der Hütte weg) ist überschaubar.
Fazit: Sehr zu empfehlen.
