The little hut is about 9km above Lake Ossiach, on the Gerlitzen Alpe, surrounded by forest and meadow, absolutely quiet and isolated. The hut can be reached up to 400m by car, in summer you could drive directly with an off-road vehicle, otherwise footpath to the hut.
DistancesNext village Bodensdorf 9km, Gerlitzen summit 3km, Ossiachersee 9km, Sepplhütte 400m, tip: Seppenhüttenrundwanderweg (walking time approx. 3:20)! If you want to make an excursion: Affenberg, Finsterbach Waterfalls or the castle ruin Landskron on the western side of Lake Ossiach are interesting for the whole family. Many marked hiking and mountain bike routes in the area!
EquippmentThe small hut has only 1 room. Here you have a seating place, a fold-out couch for 2 persons, a kitchen corner with an electric stove, an oven, a wood stove, a coffee machine and a kettle. The hut has electricity, but water only in front of the hut at the well. Earth closet near the hut. In front of the hut meadow with seating area and barbecue. Heating with a wood stove or electric.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tax currently € 2,/person/night, electricity € 0.25/kwh, wood € 25,-/week, final cleaning € 40, -. Bed linen can be rented € 7,-/set, pet € 25,-/week.

Absolut traumhaft in ruhiger und schöner Alleinlage und dennoch super zu erreichen! Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub dort. Die Hütte ist schön einfach gehalten und dennoch ist alles erforderliche vorhanden. Haben überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln. Sehr gerne wieder!!
