The cabin is located in the Southern part of the province of Salzburg, in the Lungau. Surrounded by the forest where berries and mushrooms grow, surrounded by 3 fish ponds. This secluded place is ideal for relaxation and rest. In winter snow chains required.
DistancesNearest village Zederhaus (shops, Inns etc.): 3km. The hiking tracks are all in the immediate vicinity. The swimming pool, tennise court, bike rental shop etc. are all in St. Michael: 10km.
EquippmentThis original and charming cabin offers a unique atmosphere and ambience. It consists of just one room. Ground floor: parlor with lounge, integrated kitchenette with wood stove, open chimney. There are 2 bunk beds and 1 single bed. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Staircase to the attic floor. Left and right to the stairs are sleeping areas (with space for one double bed), one on each side. Heating via wood stove, solar electricity for light. In front of the hut is a small romantic place with seats next to a pond, a barbecue, sunbeds and plenty of untrodden nature. Catch a trout in one of the three surrounding private fish ponds!
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 2,30/person/night, final cleaning € 55,-, pet € 35,-/week. linens can be rented for € 7,-/set. Fishing: € 3,50/fish.

There is a carefully signposted network for e-bike excursions and family tours. 17 mountain bike routes and the Lungau EXTREM tour as an absolute highlight await sporty cyclists. In addition to hiking and cycling, there are a variety of other outdoor activities such as golf, horse riding or even flying in Salzburgs Lungau. There are no limits to the activities.

Die Leute von der Hütte sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich kann von meiner Erfahrung nur Gutes Berichten. Ich würde es sofort wieder machen!
Waren 1 Woche Anfang Juli in dieser wunderschönen Hütte: toll gebaut, mit schönem Holz und Naturstein, gemütlich und trotz der quasi 1-Raum-Situation genügend Möglichkeit, sich zu separieren. Einsame Lage im Wald mit Angelteichen war perfekt für uns. Die Wirtsleute sehr nett, Anreise und Abreise absolut unkompliziert und einvernehmlich. Leider keine bewirtschafteten Hütten in direkter Laufnähe. Dafür aber in 15 min Autofahrt-Entfernung das wunderschöne Riedingtal: Wunderschöne Natur, Einkehren und Wandern für alle Niveaus. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert! Beim nächsten Mal bringen wir noch ein kleines Werkzeugköfferchen zum Schnitzen und Basteln mit.
Ganz tolles Haus! Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht. War mit meinen 4 Kindern dort und sie haben festgestellt, dass man Strom doch eigentlich überhaupt nicht braucht. Die Lage im Wald ist optimal - man stört niemanden und kann tun und lassen was man möchte. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es gab genügend trockenes Holz, um ordentlich einzuheizen.
Eine tolle Hütte mit einem Tischherd, wie wir ihn gerne auch daheim hätten. Das Heizen und Kochen machte richtig Spaß. Erstaunlich wie sauber in so einer urigen Hütte alles sein kann.
