The chalet is located in the Top-skiarena Zillertal Arena, on the Gerlosplatte, above a few houses, in a sunny location. Access by car.

Distances

Direct access to the ski resort of Zillertal Arena from the hut. You reach from the hut Zell in the Zillertal and so a total of 165 km of pistes for all levels, modern trains, snow until spring. Cross country ski trail, hiking from hut. Breakfast service and shop nearby. Next place for shopping are Königsleiten 1km, Krimml 10km. Gerlos 11km.

Equippment

The double cabin consists of two completely separate parts. (Left part "GER-SBG" and see the right part "LOS-SBG"). You stay in the left part. Here you have a private side entrance to the ground floor: snuggery with lounge, tiled stove, satellite TV. Perfectly equipped kitchen with electric cooker, oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine. 2 double rooms, 1 twin room. 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. 1st floor: on the attic is a double room. Heating with tiled stove and electrically. Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided. In front of the hut are a terrace with seats. Please do not smoke inside the cabin.

Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:

Lump-sum € 7,-/person/night (at least € 25,-/night), local tourism tax currently € 2,05/person/night, final cleaning € 150,-. Deposit € 400,-.

The Zillertal Arena ski pass and the Zillertaler super ski pass are also valid for the Ski Arena Wildkogel at Neukirchen am Großvenediger. Between Neukirchen, Wald, Krimml and Königsleiten you can use the the ski bus (free of charge) with a valid ski pass.

Summer Infos

The Gerlosplatte is located at 1600m between Salzburg and Tyrol. It is the connection between the Zillertal in the west and the Salzach valley in the east. In the north, the Gerlosplatte is surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps and in the south by the Zillertal Alps. In the hiking areas of Zell, Gerlos, Wald-Königsleiten and Krimml-Hochkrimml, everyone is sure to find the right hiking tour. In the more than 40 huts, mountain restaurants and snack stations you can enjoy typical delicacies from the region. You can explore the impressive mountain world on two wheels on around 325 kilometers of bike routes that lead from the Tyrolean Zillertal to the Salzburg Pinzgau. If you like action: the Zillertal Arena offers Arena Coaster (1,450m long roller coaster), Arena Skyliner and Flying Fox, single trails, water experiences such as rafting and canyoning, paragliding and much more! The Durlassboden reservoir is only 3km away. The water is over 20 degrees in midsummer and offers wonderful refreshment for splashing, swimming or pedal boating. There is also a surf school, sunbathing area and childrens playground here! Tip: hike around the lake with refreshment stops at Gasthof Finkau, Bärschlagalm and in the Seestüberl on the Dammkrone. Breathtaking hike: With a drop of 380 meters, the Krimml Waterfalls are among the most impressive natural spectacles in the world!

Wir waren dieses Jahr mit einer Gruppe von 9 Personen auf der Hütte. Für Skifahrer ideal, weil man bis zum Haus fahren kann und die Ski direkt abschnallen kann. Bis zum nächstgelegenen Lift sind es nur 50m und das umliegende Restaurant hat ebenfalls alles was das Herz begehrt zu bieten! Wichtig ist nur zu beachten, dass Dreibettzimmer unter der Schräge ist sehr flach und eher für Kinder geeignet. Ein Skiverleih ist ebenfalls wenige Meter entfernt.
