The cottage is located about 2.5km from the town Obsteig, in a very secluded and calm area, amidst the hiking area of the "Mieminger" sun plateau, high above the Inn-valley. The nature here is almost unspoiled and the beauty of the larch meadows is under conservation. In autumn the needles are turning golden yellow - then the natives say "the larchs are burning!"

Town Obsteig 2.5km, golf course 6km, forest swimming bath 6km, swimming lake 7km, indoor swimming pool and swimming bath Tels 13km, Mörserer lake 20km, Blind lake 25km, Tirol thermal bath Aqua Dome 45km. Wonderful hiking- and mountain bike paths start directly in front of the cottage.

The cottage with local flavour has a living room with lounge and a wood stove with oven on the ground floor. There is a staircase to the attic floor where you can find 4 roosts. Water is inside the well in front of the hut, the owner provides bottles with drinking water (mineral water) for the guests. The earth closet is behind the cabin. No electricity, paraffin lamp. In front of the cottage is a garden with a well, a barbecue and sunbeds. In spring and in late summer cows are grazing beside the hut.
