    The hut is completely alone, in absolute peace, in the middle of the Biosphere Park Salzburger Lungau, in the beautiful high valley of Schönfeld. Here, surrounded by the Nockberge mountains, nestled in the border triangle of Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia, you can really switch off. Accessible by car in summer, in winter the hut can be reached up to 500m along a footpath along the cross-country ski trail.

    In winter, Schönfeld offers a real natural snow paradise thanks to its sunny altitude! The lift at 1km is ideal for children! The 20 km long, well-groomed high-altitude trail leads directly past the hut! The snowy landscape is wonderful for walking or for touring. Ski area Innerkrems 5km, St. Margarethen 17km. In summer, the high valley offers numerous hiking trails and is also an Eldorado for mountain bikers! Mountain lakes, managed shelters and mountain huts invite you to adventure hiking! Serviced huts from 1km, Innerkrems high rope park with 65 climbing stations 5km, golf club 20km, Millstättersee 40km.

    The hut has a cozy snuggery with seating area, kitchenette with sink, wood stove, oven, sofa bed. A ladder leads from the anteroom to the attic, where there are mattresses for up to 6 people. Heating with wood stove, solar power for light. outhouse. Garden in front of the hut with patio, grill, fountain and small fish pond!
