The hut is located in the middle of the top skiing and hiking area Saalbach-Hinterglemm, about 2km above the town of Lengau, on a sunny slope, with a wonderful view. The hut can be reached by car all year round via a forest road. In winter, snow is cleared on the arrival/departure day on Saturday (snow chains though!), and only occasional snow clearing during the week. Garage for 2-3 cars available. In winter, the hut can also be reached via the lifts (gondola and chair lift) or on foot, about 30 minutes uphill from the middle station.
DistancesSki slopes right outside the door! Serviced hut 350m in winter, 1km in summer. Ski school in Hinterglemm. Cross-country ski trail in town. Shopping, restaurants in town in 2km. Large pond for splashing around just 1km below. In summer, wonderful hikes and mountain bike routes from the hut. Own above-ground pool for splashing around (diameter approx. 5m/height 1.2m) under the hut.
EquippmentThis great alpine hut has on the ground floor: a cozy living room with a seating area, dining table, couch, satellite TV, kitchenette with electric stove, oven, wood stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine and exit to the large sun terrace. 2 double rooms with satellite TV, bathroom with shower, toilet. First floor: 2 double rooms with satellite TV, shower/WC. Basement: Sauna (up to 30 kWh included) with exit to the outside. Ski boot dryer, storage room with freezer. Central heating. In front of the hut there is a sun terrace with seating and a grill and a wonderful view. There is an above-ground pool (diameter 5.5m/height 1.20m) for splashing around under the hut during the peak summer season of July and August. Smoking is not permitted in the hut. WiFi, washing machine, dryer available.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Flat rate (for electricity, heating, wood, coal, garbage, sewer, water, toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, tea towels) winter: €350/week, €300/for short-term rentals, summer: €250/week, € 200 for short rentals, Local tax currently €2.50/person/night, sauna €0.70/kWh (30kw included), Final cleaning winter € 280 / summer € 200 Deposit € 200.00. Bed linen and towels you have to bring yourself. 1 pet on request € 120,-.

The summer lifts in Saalbach Hinterglemm enable a quick start to the day of hiking and take you straight up to the start of the most beautiful hiking trails. Those who prefer to pedal can set off on over 400 km of well-signposted bike routes and trails in the Saalbach Hinterglemm bike paradise. Downhillers use one of the 9 mountain railways in Saalbach Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn and choose from over 70 km of trails for their descents! This diversity makes Saalbach Hinterglemm the largest bike region in Austria. There is a multitude of possibilities for families: the Kids Hiking Challenge, themed hiking trails, adventure playgrounds, bathing fun and the attractions at the end of the valley in Saalbach Hinterglemm ensure that you never get bored.

Super Ausstattung und Lage
Die Hütte bzw. das Chalet ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man für einen Hüttenurlaub benötigt. Von der Sauna kann man gleich raus in den Schnee hüpfen. sehr sonnige Lage die wir auf der Terrasse jeden Tag (wir hatten Traumwetter) genossen haben.
Und als Pluspunkt kam dazu, dass genau in unserer Woche David Hasselhoff in der Walleggalm nebenan war!!!! Leider konnten wir da keinen Blick auf ihn erhaschen aber wir glauben ihn auf der Piste in Saalbach gesehen zu haben.
Als zusätzlicher Service wären Bettwäsche mit Handtüchern in der Hütte wünschenswert! Die Nebenkosten vor Ort finden wir zu teuer!
Die Hütte liegt traumhaft sonnig mit herrlichem Ausblick, ideal zum Skigebiet! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
