Het chalet ligt boven Kitzbühel, direct bij het skigebied Kitzbüheler Horn, in de "Trattalmmulde". In de winter toegang met de Kitzbüheler Hornbahn tot het bergstation "Alpenhaus". Van hieruit korte afdaling met ski´s naar het chalet. Alternatief kunt u ook met de stoeltjeslift naar beneden en 100 m te voet naar het chalet lopen. De ligging is zowel ideaal voor sportieve ski´rs als voor gezinnen. Het chalet is ook goed bereikbaar voor niet-ski´rs.
DistancesSkigebied direct voor het chalet, skipiste voor de kids (babylift, sleeplift, transportband) onder het chalet en gemakkelijk te voet bereikbaar. Hut met bediening aan het bergstation van de stoeltjeslift. KitzbŸhel 7 km (in de winter bereikbaar met de kabelbaan tijdens de openingsuren).
EquippmentHet chalet biedt op de begane grond: gezellige huiskamer met zithoek, keukentje met elektrisch fornuis (2 platen), koelkast/diepvriesvak, houtoven, bakoven, koffiezetapparaat (Cafissimo), toegang tot het overdekte zonneterras, direct uitzicht op de skipiste, gezellige tegelkachel met zitbank (extra bed), zithoek en satelliettelevisie. Bovenverdieping: zolder met 2 tweepersoonskamers, 1 kleine kamer met 2 matrassen, 1 douche/wc. Verwarming met hout- en gasoven of elektrisch (slaapkamers), warmwaterboiler. Please bring your own towels and bed linen.

Die Hütte liegt traumhaft direkt an der Piste. Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig.
Kochutensilien wie Pfannenwender, Kochlöffel und Salatbesteck fehlten leider gänzlich.
Die Auf- und Abfahrt mit Gepäck muss selbst im Voraus mit den Bergbahnen geklärt werden. Am einfachsten ist es, im Voraus zu klären, dann werden Transportwägen bereit gestellt und es soll schneller gehen (kostenpflichtig).
Aller Müll muss mit ins Tal genommen werden.
Wie geschrieben, echt tolle Hütte in super Lage wenn das Transportproblem nicht wäre.
wir hatten wirklich eine super woche auf dieser hütte! noch dazu hat das wetter perfekt mitgespielt.
die kinder konnten vor der hütte in ruhe spielen während der opa im liegestuhl in der sonne geschlafen hat :-)
auch die anreise war problemloser als gedacht (man kommt nur mit dem lift hin).
die bewirtschaftete hütte oberhalb kann ich besonders für berner würstel oder kaiserschmarrn empfehlen - ich glaube aber, dass dort alles lecker ist :-)
tipp:
unbedingt rutsch-teller für die kids mitnehmen. die kinder können in der senke bis zur hütte rutschen und dann wieder hinauf laufen - dadurch war der abend auch schön ruhig ;-)
