The cottage is located on the Lindberg (=mountain), surrounded by trees, very calm, with a wonderful view onto the village Scheifling.
DistancesScheifling is located 2.5km below the cottage. There are shops, restaurants, tennis courts and a 2.5 hectare swimming lake with playground. The Murradweg (cycling path) runs past the town - it is a perfect starting point for extended tours through the diverse scenery. Skiing area Grebenzen 17km, Lachtal 19km, Kreischberg 29km. Red Bull Ring 40km. A train tour with the Murtalbahn would be a highlight for the whole family. Additional offers of the region are golf courses, riding possibilities. The cottage is a perfect starting point for hikes and nordic walking.
EquippmentThe cottage has on the ground floor a snuggery with seating corner and a kitchenette with wood stove, oven, electric cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee machine. Staircase to the attic floor, where you find a comfortable twin room with balcony under the mansard. Next to the snuggery are shower/toilet and a big double room. In front of the cottage are a terrace with seats, a well and access to the private infrared cabin. Below is a small garden with barbecue facilities. Heating with electricity and a wood stove. Satellite TV available.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:electricity € 0,40/kwh, local tourism tax currently € 2,50/person/night, wood € 6,-/box (about 50 litre), final cleaning € 60,-, pet € 50,-/week, bed linen and towels can be rented for € 10,-/set. Deposit € 150,-.

The Lachtal!
It is one of the biggest, most popular skiing areas in Styria where also snow is mostly assured. Skiing on an altitude between 1,600m and 2,222m, 40km slopes at all levels of difficulty (blue-red-black) and 10km skiing routes are available. It is a 150 ha sunny skiing area with 2 modern "6er chairlifts" and 8 ski lifts. The offer at the "Kinder-Lachtal" is presentable and perfect for children and novices in skiing. A "magic carpet" (that´s a kind of conveyor belt), a Teddy-ski tow, mini slalom, coloured figure parcours, wave course, treasure hunt and a lot more services are offered.

The Murau-Murtal region offers swimming, hiking, cycling and much more in summer. Explore some of our wonderful hiking trails or spend a day bathing with your family in one of our numerous bathing lakes or outdoor pools!
Bike paths, selective climbing tours, leisurely family, themed and alpine hikes ensure movement. Wonderful views show dreamy stretches of land, small, historic towns and markets.
And in the valley it’s really going. Accelerate at top-class events at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
