The hut is very sunny, absolutely quiet, with a wonderful view, in the middle of the skiing and hiking area on the Loferer Alm. In winter, ascent by gondola and then chairlift and easy incline accessible (luggage transport with hut owner) or non-skiers can walk 1km after the gondola to the hut. In summer you can drive directly with your own car (1x toll). In summer the cows are on the pasture and the landlord comes by twice a day to milk them.

EquippmentThe hut has on the ground floor: large snuggery with seating area, couch, satellite TV, kitchen with electric stove, oven, wood-burning stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. From the own farm bio products. 1 double room, shower/toilet. Upper floor: 1 double room, 1 six-bed room with one bunk bed extrabed shower/toilet. Basement: sauna. Games room with billiardtable. Wood central heating. In front of the hut there is a terrace with seating, a well trough, a grill, deck chairs and a wonderful view.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Electricity €0.50/kWh, local tax currently €1.80, wood €40/week, waste disposal €10, pet €30/week. Final cleaning €80, deposit €250. Luggage transport with snowmobile € 60.00/trip, bed linen €10.00/set can be rented, towel set €5.00 can be rented.

Winter Infos
10 cable cars and ski lifts as well as 46km slopes - at Lofer you can really enjoy the winter! It is located amidst the holiday region Salzburger Saalachtal. The skiing region was highly honoured for its family-friendliness from a testing organisation - the investigations of the last years definitely pay off! Furthermore Lofer offers a 140m long "magic carpet" (that´s a kind of conveyor belt) for the children.
If you´d like to go cross-country skiing you can choose between the 1.5km long and the 4km long prepared course, which leads through the wonderful winter landscape. Along the path you have the possibility to stop off at four restaurants.
NEW: the whole 7km long slope down to the valley is snow-covered!
