The chalet is located in a beautiful secluded location with great view, about 2km above the Prebersee.
DistancesThe 5.5 ha Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 2km away, very nice trail around the lake, entrance into the mountain bike Prebertour from the hut! Inn with local cuisine at the lake in 2km, The next place with shops is Tamsweg 11km.
EquippmentThe cottage has on the ground flour: snuggery which is surrounding the big stove on which you also can cook. Here you also have a stove bench, a seating corner, a kitchenette with fridge, a sink, a coffee machine and the exit to the covered terrace from where you have a wonderful view. Shower/toilet. Sauna. Upper floor: 1 three bed room, 1 small "transit room" with double bed, 1 two-bed room with extra bed if wanted. Solar system 220 volt. Heating and hot water via the wood stove. In front of the cottage is a big garden with seats, a place for making a barbecue and a well. Please bring along your own bed linen and towels.
Additional charges on-site subject to minor changes:Local tourism tax currently € 2,30/person/night, wood briquettes € 3,-/10 kg, firewood € 4,-/box, final cleaning € 55,-, pet € 30,-/week. Winter: snow clearance € 90,-.

Skiing in St. Michael is a real experience. The 4 skiing regions Aineck, Katschberg, Fanningberg and Grosseck-Speiereck offer more than 220km slopes and 50 ski lifts!
Wonderful deep snow hillsides and best prepared slopes at all levels of difficulty offer fun for novices in skiing as well as for advanced skiers. The 6-seater "Samson-chairlift" on the mountain Fanningberg which is the longest chairlift in the world, the cable car for 8 persons with a 4km long slope to the valley at the skiing region Grosseck-Speiereck and a fun park for snowboarders on the Aineck mountain are the main attractions of this top skiing region.

Die Hütte ist wirklich sehr sehr schön und die Gastgeber sind super nett - wir haben uns auch trotz Schneefall Anfang Oktober sehr wohl in der Hütte gefühlt. Die Möglichkeit direkt von der Hütte aus weg zu wandern ist etwas eingeschränkt - man muss zuerst zur Straße runter gehen oder fahren um dann wieder nach oben Richtung Preber und die diversen bewirtschafteten Hütten zu wandern. Die Gegend selbst rund um den Prebersee ist unglaublich schön und man kann dort auch super angeln. Durch die geschlossene Umzäunung war das optimal für unsere beiden Hunde. Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Hütte nur weiterempfehlen ????????
Ein toller Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Die Lage ist einfach nur traumhaft. Sehr nette Vermieter.
